Spend the day playing in some of Hawaii's clearest blue waters and then take a walk along the stretch of pristine sand in the evening. You'll be overcome with a calm sense of seaside tranquility with each step you take as you walk further and further into this slice of pacific paradise.

This image was taken in the middle of the Mākua Beach shoreline, looking north toward Ka'ena Point.
If you're coming from Honolulu, you'll need to get on the H1 going west bound. From there, you'll ride the freeway until you hit Farrington Highway. Once you get on Farrington Highway, you should be passing Aulani & Ko Olina Resort on your lefthand side. Then, you'll drive from the city of Nanakuli (past Makaha) to a beach called Mākua Beach.
The Mākua Beach entrance will be on your left. It won't have a sign, but it'll have a sand/dirt pull off right after the Makua Cave lookout.
Drive through the opened gate to a parking lot (21.526064, -158.227848). It's a very bumpy road to the parking lot, so please make sure to drive safely and slowly. After parking, walk straight toward Makua Beach and reference the GPS coordinates to see exactly where I stood to hey this north-facing shot.
